In an email Thursday afternoon (see below), Majority Leader Jim Dunnigan asked Republican members of the Utah House of Representatives to attend a meeting on September 29th. Representatives will be discussing Medicaid expansion in Utah. Dunnigan said that the meeting is the first of two for the Republican majority on the topic before Governor Gary Herbert calls a special session later this year.

Subject: Majority Caucus Meeting
Please make arrangements to attend a Majority Caucus Meeting Tuesday, September 29th from 3:30 to 6:30. We will meet in the Capitol Board Room and have dinner provided.
The discussion will be the plan for Medicaid expansion and to answer your questions. We anticipate this meeting to be the first of two caucus meetings before the Governor calls for a special session so we are able to fully vet this issue.
