As Election Day approaches, campaigns and political parties are filing their financial disclosures, giving us an insight into who is donating to them and how they are spending their money. As you can imagine, advertising is a big component of that disclosure. That being said, I’m curious to know if the Deseret News will be listed on the Democrat Party’s financial disclosure for the free advertisement, in my opinion, it received in this article written by Amy Joi O’Donoghue that was run yesterday.
In the article, a self-described LDS Democrat group was allowed to promote their Party’s answers to air quality and education while Republican solutions to these issues were not included in the article.
