House Statement on Utah Health Reform Task Force recommendations

SALT LAKE CITY  – The incoming Utah House Majority leadership team issued the following statement regarding the recommendations from Utah’s Health Reform Task Force:

“After two years of careful study the recommendations from the Health Reform Task Force speak for themselves.  By taking this significant step forward they have made it clear that doing nothing is not an option. We applaud their efforts and will use these recommendations to inform the process the legislature is about to begin. Consideration and a careful eye for those in need is a responsibility we all share and one we take seriously.”

Medicaid expansion will be a key issue that will be discussed during the upcoming General Legislative Session.
