To President Obama: We hate manure

You might want to stand on a chair for this one in order to save your shoes because the manure is getting deep.   In the speech Obama gave to the Cuban people sometime before or after doing the wave with Raul Castro, he states that he believes people should be allowed to peacefully protest their government. Basically he tells the people he believes in the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution.

Obama doesn’t believe in the 1st Amendment his comments were just political double talk. There are several examples to support this claim that he doesn’t believe in the 1st Amendment.

Example #1 Recapture Canyon Protest in Utah. This was a peaceful lawful protest on a open county road and yet two people (a County Commissioner and a local News Blogger) were convicted of conspiracy and trespassing and fined $95,000 dollars.   Federal Judge Shelby refused to allow the defendants to use the 1st Amendment as a defense.

ATV riders arrive in Recapture Canyon outside Blanding, Utah, May 10, 2014. Activists seeking to directly challenge federal control of swathes of territory in the U.S. West embark on an all-terrain vehicle ride on Saturday across protected land in Utah that is home to Native American artifacts and where such journeys are banned. The ride into Recapture Canyon, which comes amid heightened political tensions, is aimed to protest against indecision by federal land managers on whether to reopen canyon trails to recreational vehicle use after more than seven years of study. Example #2 The Bundy Ranch happened early 2014 and regardless of the issue of paying grazing fees the government began to seize and  killing the Bundy cattle.  The government went in and threatened the lives of the Bundy family and their way of life over a bill not being paid.  The government showed up in full tactical gear as if they were invading a small country with helicopters, snipers, heavily armed agents to confront a family that was disputing the bill the government gave them.  When other Americans saw what was happening they traveled to Nevada to protect this family.  As the actions of the federal government became more visible to the world they backed off and discontinued the threat of violence against the Bundy family.

Example #3 The Hammond family in Oregon worked closely with local authorities to protect their land and the land of their neighbors from devastating wild land fires for years.  They were protecting their own property and way of life by setting back burns to remove the fuel the fires needed to rage on.  This is a common practice with wild land fires and in the process their back burn ignited 100 acres of BLM grass land which cause no real damage.  As a result of them being outspoken and hard workers with land the federal government wants the government charged the Hammond father and one son with federal terrorism charges and they were sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Example #4 Some of the Bundy family along with others were involved in the Oregon wildlife refuge protest at the beginning of this year.  The media and the government worked to demonize the protest as a violent armed take over which couldn’t have been further from the truth.

The protest ended with LaVoy Finicum being murdered in a government ambush as well as dozens of people being arrested and charged under the patriot act as terrorists. They are locked away in solitary confinement as you read this article with no bail looking at a sack full of time.  These people didn’t commit a violent crime all they did was speak out against government tyranny and teach others about the US Constitution and exercised their right to free speech.

The attitude of the Obama Administration towards peaceful protesters is also reflected in the almost cowardly non-action of elected politicians from state officials to US Congressman and Senators. The same elected officials that continually talk about the US Constitution and the unalienable rights of the individual refuse to stand up for the people when it comes to the 1st Amendment.  Some go as far to say that these citizens broke the law and others ignore it and spend their time pandering to special interest for their re-election.

This is the only type of protesting that the Obama Administration supports. Obama even goes as far to invite the organizers and community leaders to Washington.  No there was none of the Ferguson protest leaders charged as terrorist and locked away in solitary confinement or ambushed and murdered by their government.

That is why the following statement by Obama is total manure.
