If you thought former Murray Mayor Dan Snarr was going to ride off into the sunset, moustache and all, you’d be mistaken. He has recently filed as a Democrat for the seat in Salt Lake County Council District 3. The seat also being sought by Republican Aimee Winder Newton, sister to former West Valley City Mayor Mike Winder, who was appointed to replace David Wilde after he resigned the seat earlier this year.
