Grading Presidential Candidate Logos

The world of presidential candidate logos has shifted since 2004. Barack Obama changed everything with his remarkable O logo and that is now the benchmark that everything else is judged against. With that in mind, I thought I’d take a look at all the logos for announced presidential candidates this year and give them a letter grade, from A to F. Election 2016 GOP Power Rankings – June 2015

I’d been looking at BetFair for power rankings in months’ past, but I’m turning more to the national polling now that there’s a deadline. The ten Republicans have two months to get their poll numbers up to make it into that first Fox News debate. I took the latest polls from ABC, CNN, FoxNews, and Quinnipiac and averaged them together for a national snapshot: 1. Jeb Bush – 11.25% 2. Scott Walker – 10.75% 3. Marco Rubio – 10.25% 4. Ben Carson – 9% 5. Rand Paul – 8.75% 5.…

Gas prices have crept up, but we’re still $1 per gallon less than prices this time last year. Everything you could ever need to know about Friday, May 29, 2015. Who should be the 10 Republican candidates at the first debate? When it comes to America’s privately owned infrastructure there…

Who Should Be the Ten Republicans at the First Fox News Debate?

The first Republican presidential debate for Election 2016 will take place on Fox News on August 6. They have stated that they will only allow the candidates who finish in the top ten on average of the five most recent national polls. This means that some credible candidates who don’t happen to be polling well in summer could miss the stage while more unserious challengers would get the air time. It’s difficult to keep track of who has officially declared they’re running vs. those we know will, but they need…

Election 2016 GOP Power Rankings – Feb 2015

Since last month, Mitt Romney got into the race, climbed to #2 in some polls, and then officially dropped out of the 2016 presidential race. So how do those willing to put money on it feel the race is going to go? The folks at BetFair have filled the void left by the late great InTrade. 1. (1) Jeb Bush ——— 3.35 (12-5) 2. Way Too Early 2016 GOP Power Rankings

It’s January 2015, which means it’s time to ramp up speculation in the 2016 presidential race into full gear. So, looking at the likely candidates, let’s do an oh-so-early 2016 GOP Power Rankings. The players are from the ten Likely Candidates from US Presidential Election News. 1. JEB BUSH – Seems so strange that he would be the front-runner, but he is. He has the money, he has the “establishment” backing, he’s solidifying the multimillionaire contributions, and he’s the smarter Bush brother. It should have been him in 2000 instead…
