BLM Violates Federal Law in Indian Creek

On October 21, 2005, Monticello Field Office Manager Sandra A. Parks Service Fudges Numbers on San Juan County job Report

The San Juan Record ran an article on March 26, 2014 titled “National Parks in San Juan help support 1,910 jobs”.  That article made the following claims:  A new National Park Service (NPS) report states that in 2012, the 2,705,215 visitors to national park sites in San Juan County spent $150 million and supported 1,910 jobs. San Juan Health Services Refuses to Disclose CEO’s Qualifications

On January 31, 2014 The Petroglyph hand delivered a GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) request to the San Juan Hospital in Monticello Utah.  The request asked for three different items of information that was related to the new interim CEO Laurie Schafer.   The three items of information were a list of her qualifications,  all complaints she may have received in the last year, and her last two evaluations.  The request excluded any specific details, names,  or any personal information.   On February 13, 2014 Deana Dalton with…

Three Doctors Resign from San Juan Hospital – Hospital in Trouble

On February 3, the head physician Dr. Paul Reay at the San Juan Hospital in Monticello Utah turned in his resignation.  A couple days later Dr Bryce Peterson turned in his resignation as well.   Dr Reay presented the following letter to the public addressing his resignation: The hospital in Monticello Utah has had a high rate of turnover in the last couple of years.
